Capcom’s COO, Mark Beaumont, Passes Away
by Jason | Tue, 02/23/2010 - 19:23
I don’t normally post this sort of story here, but I thought a man who contributed so much to the game industry and served his final days with a company that I adore and respect as much as Capcom deserved a little tribute, if even only on my measly blog.
Robotube Games sends its thoughts and condolences to his friends and family. Thanks, Mark, for the work you did in this industry, and for the happiness you helped bring to hundreds of thousands of adoring fans.
Gaijin’s Chris Osborn Visits Bit Museum, Licks Console
by Jason | Thu, 02/18/2010 - 06:09
Gaijin Games’ own Chris Osborn visited the Bit Museum semi-recently, and licked our Nintendo Block Kuzushi console. He was apparently unsatisfied with the bounty of Saltines that ALL guests of Bit Museum are served.
Nonetheless, H.R. Lickinstuff is welcome back anytime.
Chris play's the Nintendo Block Kuzushi. The urge to lick has not yet taken over.

Here are a couple of photos I dug up for your extreme pleasures. These are rare photos snapped of us filming Bit Museum during Episode 1: Old Nintendo Crap (which isn’t really crap at all…it’s super awesome.)
Hit the jump for the weird pics.

Bit Museum #5 Coming VERY Soon!
by Jason | Wed, 02/10/2010 - 15:33
What up playaz? It has been a dreadfully long time, but the latest episode of Bit Museum is finally finished. In fact, episode #5 was delayed for some pretty good reasons. We moved our office out of the location you saw in the previous Bit Museum episodes, so #5 will be the last episode that was filmed in our old New Haven location. New episodes will be filmed in a brand new, totally swanky new place. Stay tuned for details on that!
Gaijin Games Releases RUNNER Video
by Jason | Fri, 02/05/2010 - 19:27
Must fire out hot, steamy propers where hot, steamy propers are due. This first video of Bit.Trip Runner over at IGN looks fine indeed. I must say, Commander Video is more svelte and atheltic than I judged him for. He must do very well with the ladies.
Obscure Arcade Game History: “I’m Sorry”
by Jason | Tue, 01/26/2010 - 07:47
On another one of my commute-in gaming sessions, I played one of my favorite obscure and very weird arcade games, “I’m Sorry” by Sega. Chuckling to myself as much as ever as I played, I realized I needed to share this with you guys. It’s such a brilliantly ridiculous game, and it needs to be given some spotlight.
Interview over at NintendoLife: Bloktonik, Bit Museum, Indie Gaming
by Jason | Wed, 01/20/2010 - 07:45
Been a while since I’ve updated….the holidays and some big changes in the everyday routine grabbed me and shook me all up and made me all disoriented, and just now I’m starting to get my bearings again. It was like a giant hand of the Universe came out of the sky and slapped me around.
